How a fleet turns texts on
Texts are off until someone agrees to them. To turn them on, the fleet's owner or office manager signs in to the Pren app and adds a mobile number, for themselves or for a driver, and agrees to this statement, shown beside the number:
Pren keeps the words, their version, who agreed and when. A number nobody agreed for is never texted. Agreeing is not a condition of using Pren: every question also comes by email and waits in the app.
What Pren texts
- Questions only your fleet can answer, such as which truck a fuel purchase belongs to.
- Receipts to send and returns to approve.
- Nothing else. No marketing, no promotions and nothing from other companies.
Message frequency varies with your filings. Message and data rates may apply. An example text, for a made-up fleet:
Pren: Red Mesa Freight's fuel card shows 118.402 gal in Amarillo, TX on Sep 12. Which truck? Reply 1 for Truck 12 or 2 for Truck 7. Reply STOP to stop texts, HELP for help.
Stop, start and help
- Reply STOP at any time and Pren stops texting that number.
- Reply START to start again.
- Reply HELP for help, or email ryan@usepren.com.
- The first text Pren sends says how to stop and how to get help.
